DESCRIPTION:Join us Wednesday\, August 28\, from 6 to 8 p.m. for a Statewide Continuing Education Workshop on Moving from Friend to Sweetheart in the Age of Technology. \nPeople with developmental disabilities want to form positive\, healthy relationships but may not know how to meet others and develop these relationships. When we add the latest technology and social media\, we may feel nervous or unsure about how to stay safe ourselves and how to support people with disabilities. This workshop will explore how to navigate the internet and social media in a helpful\, safe\, and positive way. \nThis workshop will be facilitated by Katherine McLaughlin\, M.Ed.\, AASECT Certified Sexuality Educator and Founder\, CEO\, and Lead Trainer for Elevatus Training. \nRegister now to attend! This meeting will be held virtually on Zoom.
