VBPD Announces 2025 Requests for Proposals

The Virginia Board for People with Disabilities is seeking Proposal Applications in response to its Competitive Request for Proposal (RFP), due April 18, 2025, by 4:00 p.m. ET. Approximately $100,000 is available for one or more projects. Grant projects will begin July 1, 2025, and are 100% federally funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Community Living, Office of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.

Projects funded under the RFP, titled Strengthening Self-Advocacy in Virginia, must be designed to strengthen an existing self-advocacy organization, or program within an organization, led by individuals with developmental disabilities, by improving an organization’s skill set, structure, and/or work to effect policy change. The Board has reserved total funding of up to $100,000 for one or more grant projects under this RFP.
