Planning a Life with a Disability: Financial, Legal, and Support Strategies
November 15 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Join us Friday, November 15, from 12 to 2 p.m. for a Statewide Continuing Education Workshop on Planning a Life with a Disability: Financial, Legal, and Support Strategies.
Understanding how public benefits and systems, financial assets, decision-making supports, and legal protections work together is overwhelming for most individuals with disabilities and their families. Disability life planning aims at providing disability-specific resources and protections that support an individual’s needs while protecting their access to public benefits and services. Our end goal is to empower individuals and families to live their best lives, stay out of poverty, and receive the supports needed to be integrated into the community and out of institutions.
Register now to attend! This meeting will be held virtually on Zoom.
