
RFP Technical Assistance Webinar

The Virginia Board for People with Disabilities is seeking Proposal Applications in response to its Competitive Request for Proposal (RFP), due April 18, 2025, by 4:00 p.m. ET. Grant projects will begin July 1, 2025, and are 100% federally funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Community Living, Office of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
Projects funded under the RFP, titled Strengthening Self-Advocacy in Virginia, must be designed to strengthen an existing self-advocacy organization, or program within an organization, led by individuals with developmental disabilities, by improving an organization’s skill set, structure, and/or work to effect policy change. The Board has reserved total funding of up to $100,000 for one or more grant projects under this RFP.
VBPD staff will hold a Technical Assistance Zoom webinar on March 17, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. ET, for applicants interested in learning more about submitting a proposal application. Advance registration is required. Register for the webinar.
