Join us Friday, December 12, from 12 to 2 p.m. for a Statewide Continuing Education Workshop on Virginia Department of Health’s Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs Unit.

This workshop will introduce participants to the Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs (CYSHCN) Unit at the Virginia Department of Health (VDH). Participants will learn about the Maternal and Child Health Block Grant that funds most of the unit’s programs and gain an understanding of the resources and support available. The workshop will also explore birth defects awareness, prevention, and surveillance in Virginia.
